Hi Micromind and welcome.

To change the basic layout you will need to change the data on the SD card directly, so the card will need to be removed from the back of the keyboard and inserted into a card reader. It may have trouble reading directly though the keyboard slot.

ENSURE YOU BACKUP EVERYTHING ON THE CARD BEFORE YOU PROCEED!

On the card you will see a directory called "optimus". This is what you need to change.

In the configurator program select the layer design you want to use and export the "optimus Layout..." to somewhere on your computer, say the desktop. This folder created will also be called "optimus". Now just copy and paste to the SD card and replace the default optimus directory replacing all files suggested by the computer. Now just replace the SD card back into the keyboard and cycle the power. Hey presto!

Naturally if all goes to pot just delete all the contents of the card and restore the files from your backup you saved earlier.
