Post Snow Leopard and Optimus Maximus
Hi there! It's been a while since I've been here but I'm sincerely hoping someone can help.

I've just installed Snow Leopard on my Apple iMac and unfortunately, the OM configurator or driver doesn't seem to be working. After the OM has been plugged in I'm getting the default Windows set up on the keyboard light up correctly. However, the problem is when I click on the Configurator and the Maximus driver. The OLEDs instead of going into my layout that I have set up instead goes into a sort of white mode where every key seems to be giving off some white "snow". I've also noticed on the Configurator that all the ticks besides my layers are all upside down.

Is the Maximus software not designed to work with Snow Leopard? I would really hope that someone can help me out on this.

Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Kind regards,

Ashraf.

I have the same problem. Don't worry about it though, in about 7 months there will be a new version out to fix the problem ;)

/me sighs....

For now I think we're both screwed. I tried launching it in Rosetta too, with no luck. Exactly as you described. We'll need to submit some bug reports to them to make sure the problem gets noticed.

aaaahhh! god i hope it isn't 7 months! i sent in an email to support and got no reply. the default layout (the windows layout!) works if you turn off the mac drivers... but that isn't what we paid $1600 for now is it. please, wonderfully talented and creative people of art lebedev studios, PLEASE at least acknowledge the problem and placate us with a guess of a time-line for snow leopard compatibility. i can't live without my optimus maximus! and i KNOW that there are more than 3 of us mac users who have updated to 10.6 and are having this problem... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...

Same issue here :( ... Bug fixes / compatibility should take precedence here. I'm sure version 3.0 of the configurator will need to take snow leopard into consideration.

finally got my response and am counting the minutes...

"Sorry for not responding, we wanted to write you after updated Configurator
becomes available.

We were able to get Snow Leopard only two days ago. We've already found
and fixed the issue. Updated Configurator will be available on Monday."

I am pleased to see that you claim to have a solution by Monday, but the question remains, where may we obtain the new software for Mac Snow Leopard? Please post the url, thanks.
