Post Lion Compatibility
Is the Optimus Maximus software compatible with the new Mac Lion update? When I try to launch it, there's a message: "you can't open the application MaximusDriver because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." Is there a new driver, or a way around this?

Hey thanks for that. I hadn't thought of sending in a report request yet. I was kind of thinking maybe it was just something obvious i was missing.

We have tested Optimus Maximus software with Mac Lion and where unable to reproduce the error.
Configurator is universal binary with i386 support.

./Optimus Maximus Configurator.app/Contents/MacOS/Optimus Maximus Configurator: Mach-O universal binary with 2 architectures
./Optimus Maximus Configurator.app/Contents/MacOS/Optimus Maximus Configurator (for architecture ppc7400):Mach-O executable ppc
./Optimus Maximus Configurator.app/Contents/MacOS/Optimus Maximus Configurator (for architecture i386): Mach-O executable i386

Configurator isn't the problem. The DRIVER is the problem. I can open the configuration, but not the driver. I'll try downloading again and see what happens.

Both Condigurator and Driver are compiled with same settings.

I tested here. If I run the driver by itself, it works. If I open the configurator, and it launches the driver, then I get the error message, and the driver won't launch.

I suppose it could have something to do my preferences, I'll try deleting them.
