You talk about Layer swicher plugin. ^__^

1. Add "Switch by action" Condition on some Layer;
2. Select "Toggle condition" Action on some Button;
3. In Action properties select Layer from step 1.

As a result pressing the Button will change activity of the Layer.

I know about the layer switch plugin, and how to use it. But thanks for the explanation :-)
I was thinking that somthing like I described can make it more simple for some users.

Is there a way to send a STRING followed by an enter key (or other non ascii key) ? Can't seem to find it / make it happen, Im probably missing something.

I know you can trigger a VBS and use Sendkeys etc. but this is impractical for the number of machines we are looking at using these keyboards with (industrial process control; large site). Would be nice to keep all of the keyboard config local to the keyboard (like UMD's etc.), makes maintenance a dream - also, its imporant for us to keep everything _simple_, having many VBS scripts are a PITA to decode, not to mention performance...

Would be nice to be simply able to "SOMEDATA<ENTER>" (some sort of keyword for non ascii keys ie. enter, function keys etc.).

Very simple first step towards macro's.

Please download new functions.dll:
http://pretender.design.ru/maximus/supp ... ctions.zip

Extract and replace file in directory:
C:\Program Files\Optimus Maximus Configurator\plugins\functions

Now you can use strings like "SOMEDATA\n" for enter. This functionality
will be included in future versions of Configurator.
